Complex Homecare Worker Jobs

Attends case conferences, team meetings and education in-services, as required

One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Must meet all federal, state, local and contract requirements

Assesses and evaluates patient nursing needs regularly

Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required

Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change

Data entry and word processing experience/training in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Health care experience is an asset

Experience with time entry in HASP system is an asset

Experience with community wide scheduling an asset for some units (i.e Oncology, Renal Dialysis)

Must have a high aptitude towards office organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment

Successful completion of a recognized office administration program

Skilled in behaviour management strategies and adapting teaching methods

Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or related field with educational experience

Deliver one-to-one instruction to help bridge foundational skills gaps for students

Set goals and objectives for each student with support of a Case Manager

Experience working with children and youth with developmental disorders (ASD, ADHD, DCD) and complex learning and behavioural needs

Behavioural Intervention training or Special Education training

Experience supporting someone with a visual impairment ould be benefical

Experience supporting young children and or adults with cerebral palsy

Experience providing personal care; and moving and handling
