Demonstrated experience in case management and community liaison.
Demonstrated skills in organization and time management.
Knowledge of mental health and addictions services offered within the IWK and across the community.
Minimum two (2) years post masters clinical experience working in mental health and addictions field required.
Knowledge and awareness of the African Nova Scotia community and youth serving organizations required.
Experience working in a pediatric mental health and addictions setting preferred.

Detailed Job Description Community Workers are responsible for providing support to individuals, families, and groups in the community. They work to identify and address social, economic, and environmental issues. They may provide direct services, such as counseling, advocacy, and case management, or they may work to develop and implement programs and services to meet the needs of the community. They may also work to build relationships with community members and organizations to promote collaboration and cooperation. Job Skills Required
