Maintain an active caseload, including all file management responsibilities

A post-secondary education in Career and Work Counseling, Adult Education or a related field and/or 5 years directly related work experience

Knowledge of/experience with the healthcare sector and the pharmaceutical and medical device industries is considered a strong asset

Meet monthly statistical requirements and maintain professional and effective information tracking systems on all activities performed

A diploma in human/social services or a related discipline or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

One-year minimum combined education and relevant experience associated with community social services

Valid First Aid and CPR certification

Mandt Certification (Available training upon successful application)

Class 7N, Class 5, or where required class 4 unrestricted driver’s license

Demonstrated experience in case and file management

Proficient in data management, various online platforms and emerging technologies

Assists the project Manager with day-to-day project delivery

Makes recommendations to the project Manager regarding project activities to improve administration efficiency and effectiveness

At least three years of related work experience

Thorough knowledge of all facets of job search and career development including an understanding of labour market trends

Knowledge/understanding of the unique dynamics that exist within the Aboriginal, Inuit, and Métis cultures.

Solid knowledge of services and resources available for youth in Ontario;

Experienced motivational interviewer with the ability to create a comfortable interview environment;

Sound knowledge of the child welfare system and the principle issues affecting the youth in this system;

Highly effective written and oral communication skills, problem solving, advocacy and assessment skills;
