Communications And Design Strategist Jobs

A university degree, completion of a college diploma, or combination of related education and experience

Partnering closely with departments including finance, HR, sales, and IT to understand and accomplish project deliverables.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a graphic design-related role

Engaging in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams spanning our operational regions in Canada, the US, and Sweden.

Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel

A valid passport and the ability to travel occasionally to Canadian or U.S. operations (2-3 times/year).

Demonstrates a commitment to enhancing one’s own awareness, knowledge, and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion

Promotes Arts programming and events in support of the faculty s strategic vision and objectives.

Participates in regular editorial team meetings. Liaises where needed with UBC Brand and Marketing, Media Relations and other campus communicators.

Represents the Arts Communications team on various committees and via opportunities that require/request Arts representation.
