Commercial Banking Advisor Jobs

Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial insurance account management, preferably in a brokerage or agency environment.

All correspondence to be attached and documented in Broker Management System.

Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field an asset but not mandatory.

Proficiency in insurance agency management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software applications.

Responsible to facilitate the entire renewal 90-60 days in advance and manage process with CSA and TSA.

In-depth knowledge of insurance policies, coverage forms, endorsements, and related industry regulations.

Focus on client education and demonstration, leveraging technology to deliver a memorable client experience, drive sales, and retain business

Problem-solving and people skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and proactively connect with clients

Respond to client-initiated contact, assisting them with a full range of financial transactions

Strong relationship-management, sales and negotiation skills

Expert knowledge of people, sales management, and coaching techniques.

Making recommendations relative to structure, monitoring and risk rating to Global Risk Management as issues are identified.

Good PC skills are necessary, including a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other commercial systems and platforms.

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

Provides Advice and Counsel to Client Relationship Managers by:

Minimum5-7 years of experience in commercial lending preferred, as well as previous banking experience in a relationship management role

Expert knowledge of coaching and be a change management leader

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a geographically diverse and mobile team

Apply a continuous-improvement approach to delivering a superior client experience

A post-secondary diploma/degree, ideally in commerce or business administration, or related experience

Financial statement reviews and computer modeling and analysis experience
