Cloud Data Architect – Snowflake Jobs

·Excellent presentation and communication skills,both written and verbal, ability to problem solve and design in an environment with unclear requirements.

Experience in Data warehousing - OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modeling.

Need to have working knowledge of MS Azure configuration items with respect to Snowflake.

Perform code reviews to ensure fit to requirements, optimal execution patterns and adherence to established standards.

Including hands on experience with productionized data ingestion and processing pipelines using Python, Data bricks, Snow SQL

Developing scripts UNIX, Python etc. to Extract, Load and Transform data, as well as other utility functions.

Experience with AWS or Azure data storage and management technologies such as S3 and ADLS

Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management

Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Big Data model techniques using Python

Should have good SQL scripting skills(TSQL or PLSQL).

Experience in Data Migration from RDBMS to Snowflake cloud data warehouse

Experience with data security and data access controls and design

Location – Toronto, Canada (100 % Remote)

Lead experience is required in Onshore - Offshore Coordination.

Experience in Data Lake is required (Athena / Glue).

Experience in End to End Architecture – Solutioning.

Either AWS or Azure Cloud experience is required.

Need a Lead Cloud Data Architect with Data Background (ETL / Data Warehousing / SQL)

Implementation experience building ETL pipelines using Azure & Snowflake

Strong communication and reporting skills

Experience with Azure, Snowflake, Python, Architecture (design aspect)

Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Knowledge in Azure Cloud Infra Cost Estimation and Planning
