Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills

Takes an active role in plant training and development, procedure and systems development and management, as well as other project-related activities

Performs routine water tests on a regular basis and understands water chemistry, water, and waste management operations

Proficient computer skills, experience with SAP an asset

Operations and monitoring of all plant systems consistent with requirements of the Technical Standards and Safety Act

Maintains a thorough knowledge of the plant systems and developments. Updates training material as changes to the plant systems are made

Learn and apply the required skills and knowledge to safely & effectively perform the duties as described.

Assist with the skills development of personnel, operating and technical improvements and troubleshooting.

Previous Power and/or Hydrogen Plant experience is an asset

Demonstrated willingness to learn and in turn teach others and take on increasing levels of responsibilities

Operate and maintain stationary engines and mechanical machinery include boilers, air compressors, Hydrogen Reformer and cogeneration units.

Work in conjunction with other engineers to ensure that all systems are maintained properly
