Overview A Carpenter Apprentice is a person who is in the process of learning the trade of carpentry. They are typically employed by a master carpenter or a carpentry company and are responsible for assisting in the construction of buildings, furniture, and other items. Detailed Job Description A Carpenter Apprentice is responsible for assisting the master carpenter or carpentry company in the construction of buildings, furniture, and other items. This includes measuring, cutting, and assembling materials, as well as helping to install and finish carpentry projects. They may also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment, and helping to ensure that all safety protocols are followed. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
• Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in carpentry or related field
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
• Knowledge of woodworking and finishing techniques
• Knowledge of mathematics and geometry

• Previous experience in carpentry or related field
