Overview A Cable Splicer is a skilled tradesperson who specializes in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical cables and wiring. They are responsible for connecting cables and wires to power sources, ensuring that all connections are secure and safe. Cable Splicers must be knowledgeable in the use of specialized tools and equipment, and must be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams. Detailed Job Description Cable Splicers are responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical cables and wiring. This includes connecting cables and wires to power sources, ensuring that all connections are secure and safe. Cable Splicers must be knowledgeable in the use of specialized tools and equipment, and must be able to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams. They must also be able to identify and troubleshoot any problems with the cables or wiring. Cable Splicers must be able to work in a variety of settings, including outdoors, in confined spaces, and in hazardous environments. Job Skills Required
