Overview A Bulk Driver is responsible for transporting bulk materials such as fuel, grain, and other commodities from one location to another. They must be able to safely and efficiently operate a truck and trailer to ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods. Detailed Job Description Bulk Drivers are responsible for safely and efficiently transporting bulk materials from one location to another. They must be able to operate a truck and trailer in a safe and timely manner, and must be knowledgeable of the laws and regulations governing the transportation of bulk materials. Bulk Drivers must also be able to inspect and maintain their vehicles and trailers, and must be able to load and unload their cargo. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing the transportation of bulk materials
• Ability to operate a truck and trailer in a safe and timely manner
• Ability to inspect and maintain vehicles and trailers
• Ability to load and unload cargo
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL)
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing the transportation of bulk materials
• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Knowledge of loading and unloading cargo
• Knowledge of vehicle and trailer maintenance
Job Experience
• Previous experience operating a truck and trailer
• Previous experience transporting bulk materials
Job Responsibilities
• Operate a truck and trailer in a safe and timely manner
• Inspect and maintain vehicles and trailers
• Load and unload cargo
• Follow safety procedures
• Comply with laws and regulations governing the transportation of bulk materials
