Skills, Experience & Education Requirements

Knowledge of SOPs related to safety, cleaning, machine operation, quality

The ability to understand, follow and perform safety procedures and requirements

Knowledge of SOPs cleaning, start up, safety, operation, quality

Operate forklift machinery as required for material handling duties

Backfill for Palletizer and/or Blender helper as needed, including forklift duties

Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)  

2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls  

2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment  

2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures  

1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles  

Procedure based maintenance experience (PM) 

3-5 years’ experience in NDT inspection.

Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) Level II certification/s.

Performs and completes NDT field inspections in compliance with client, industry and company standards and policies.

Prepares and completes all necessary paperwork required in compliance with client, industry and company standards and policies.

Ensures all equipment is setup, calibrated and functional at all times in alignment with client and company procedures.

Applies testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications for both conventional and advanced NDT methods.

Manage small and medium-sized Broadcast technology projects

Complete performance monitoring and review of system performance and communicate status updates to Manager

Maintain current knowledge of inner workings of equipment/systems, the connect points and interdependencies of all positions

Excellent working knowledge of current broadcast technical standards

Problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Knowledge of computer systems, networking topology and deployment and network security as asset

Time management skills including the ability to multi-task, work with deadlines, and work under pressure.

Safely assess and produce rigging requirements for flats, flys, drops silks and any other flown equipment.

Problem-solving skills along with excellent customer service, interpersonal and team skills.

Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and an understanding and commitment to safe working practices.

Able to perform physical requirements of position lift 25 kg. objects, climb ladders etc.

Must understand the needs of the performing arts/entertainment sector, corporations, community groups, educational institutions, and other potential clients.
