Post-secondary degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 3 years related project experience including architectural contract administration (CA), managing and reviewing submittals and shop drawings.

Extensive experience with an excellent track record in delivering on planning, design and execution.

Advanced AutoCAD and 3D Sketchup experience required.

Support development of AFE and business case.

Excellent verbal, visual and presenter communication skills to diverse business stakeholders of various management types and levels of the organization.

Demonstrated successful management of multiple projects and initiatives deliverables at different phases of development on time and within the given budget.

Analytical, communication and organizational skills, strong written and oral communication abilities

5-7+ years minimum experience in retail store space planning and design, or architectural and/or design consultancy practices

Fluent in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, Smartsheet, Excel. 3DS, Rhino or other rendering capabilities.

Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate actively and proactively with others in a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team.

Analyze project requirements and prepare written request for third party consultants to conduct OBC and/or structural feasibility studies.

Manage the electronic drawing filing system for both active and archived projects

5-7 years of experience creating retail / commercial design concepts

Strong knowledge of construction set of drawings and ability to design Store Layout to implement that layout into Construction drawings

Self-motivated with good organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Able to adapt to peak periods

Ability to manage multiple projects and achieve deadlines

Inventory management for all in-store signage programs, store asset files and documents (yearly audits and updates)

Experience with Sketch-Up Pro is an asset

Hands on experience with design, typography, color, layout design, etc.

Extensive knowledge of print production

Knowledge of photography and production equipment are an asset

Team player with strong communication, written & presentation skills

Manage assigned projects deliverables & priorities to ensure they are on time.

5+ years of practical experience as a Store Designer

Highly creative with strong knowledge of retail design, fashion retail & design trends.

Experience in working with creative, procurement & roll-out teams

Experience in producing in-house concept development from design brief to prototype store delivery.
