Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada

Must be able to obtain a Transport Canada Security Clearance

Must be able to successfully complete all CATSA assessments including Screening Officer Foundations (SOF) and On-the-Job (OJT) programs.

Communicate with assessors to obtain information pertaining to file management;

Attend case management meetings as required with a multidisciplinary team including key stakeholders;

Schedule medical/occupational services following intake process and time requirements;

Communicate and confirm with all parties of appointment times and assessment requirements;

Review of reports and services for accuracy and contractual requirements;

Assist with weekly reporting requirements;

Good communication skills in French/English, both written and verbal.

1-2 years of experience in Retail/Administration/Customer Service or a recent graduate

Good typing skills and phone demeanour.

Bilingual Claims Intake - Remote or Hybrid

Key Role Responsibilities / Activities

Act as the initial point of contact for customers calling in to report a health/travel claim.

Knowledge of general office procedures

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position

Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others

Ability to operate related equipment

Must have an Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency;

Experience in Customer Service & Administrative work

Review and enter information from client referrals into CRM database and forward appropriately

Receive inbound calls, place outbound calls, transfer calls and take messages from current and potential clients, prescribers and other healthcare practitioners

Notify clients and Team Resources regarding scheduled appointments and document all tasks and phone calls in CRM database
