Excellent organizational skills, ability to take initiative, plan ahead, find creative solutions to individual needs and manage caseload

The ideal candidates should have experience working with behavioral individuals having developmental disabilities.

Carries out all administrative responsibilities as assigned including completion of all the required charting, documentation and reporting

Aims to increase individual independence through the performance of life skills

Minimum one (1) year of experience in the field of Social Services required

Prior experience working with developmental individuals with high behavioral needs

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A Master's degree in a related field (psychology, social work, counseling, etc.) or equivalent experience.

Experience working in a healthcare or behavioral health setting, preferably in admissions or patient intake.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.

Knowledge of insurance and billing processes related to behavioral health treatment.

Demonstrated experience and skill in developing and delivering behavioural management interventions for specified population

Assit in the development of crisis intervention, risk management and urgent care planning for clients

Crisis intervention skills, with well developed problem solving abilities and interpersonal skills

Extensive experience in training and educating colleagues, clients and key stakeholders on strategies and interventions aimed at addressing responsive behaviours

Training/knowledge of P.I.E.C.E.S., U-First!, Recovery/Psychosocial rehabilitation approaches or willingness to receive training

Demonstrated knowledge of best practices related to dementia, delirium, mental health issues and their effect on seniors, families and caregivers
