Detailed Job Description Battery Engineers are responsible for designing, developing, and testing batteries for a variety of applications. This includes designing and developing battery systems for electric vehicles, consumer electronics, and other applications. They must have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and be able to apply them to the design and development of batteries. They must also be able to troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise with the batteries. Battery Engineers must be able to work with a variety of materials and components, including lithium-ion, nickel-metal hydride, and lead-acid batteries.
