The Writing and Research Specialist will be responsible for following complex files from beginning to end and communicating independently with clients. Our client is willing to train the right candidate if they can demonstrate proficient writing, research, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Creating professional summaries, reports, presentations, and proposals.
• Leading project administration including tracking activities, record-keeping, and managing deadlines.
• Other administrative assistance as required.
• Conducting research and problem-solving potential client issues.
• Analyzing and synthesizing information from transcriptions.
• Acting as a liaison with clients and scheduling meetings and follow-up calls.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a team-orientated and project-driven environment.
• A high degree of emotional intelligence and intuition.
• Previous experience with business, law, estate planning, or financial services would be an asset.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Exceptional business writing skills with the ability to prepare documents and proposals over 100 pages in length.
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office) with the ability to learn a variety of software programs.
• Professional demeanor with an ability to work with clients independently.
• Post-secondary education, undergraduate or graduate level.
