Job Description

Daltco Electricis Eastern Ontario’s largest independent electrical automation and lighting distributor. Daltco Electric serves the industrial, residential, and commercial marketplace from its three locations in Kingston, Brockville and Ottawa.

We are searching for an energetic, focused and dedicated team player to join us as aWarehouse Associatein our Brockville Location.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate would join the Warehouse team and is responsible for the following:

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
  • Prepares and packs orders for shipping with attention to customer priorities and appropriate time- lines, and double checks all picked orders for accuracy of material
  • Assist in the physical inventory count
  • All other duties required or assigned by supervisor
  • Assists with receiving tasks, verifies stock and places material in appropriate locations
  • Assists Customers by answering queries relating to their order status, changes and delivery timeframes
  • Foster an environment where teamwork and inclusivity is prioritized
  • Work with freight providers for all inbound and outbound logistic requirements


REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Team player
  • Physical labour required, lifting and loading (Ability to lift 50+ lbs)
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations including shipping/receiving is an asset
  • Expectational organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written & oral communication
  • Grade 12 diploma
