Job Description
Mixed Sweet Media (MSW) is a full-service marketing agency located in Calgary. Our services include web development, graphic design, photography, videography, social media management, brand creation, marketing strategies & more. We provide our clients with high-quality, value-added services, maintaining their marketing activities to ensure success in both the B2B & B2C space.
We are seeking a talented Video Production Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high-quality video content that meets the needs of clients. The Video Production Coordinator will work closely with clients and our internal marketing, communications, and content teams to create engaging video content that tells our client’s brand story and supports their overall marketing strategy.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our marketing, communications, and content teams to develop creative briefs and video concepts that align with clients’ brand messaging and marketing goals.
Plan, script, and edit high-quality video content, including product demos, promotional videos, customer testimonials, and event coverage.
Use After Effects to create on brand motion graphics content for clients.
Develop and maintain a production schedule and ensure that all video projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for new and innovative video production techniques.
Collaborate with external partners, such as videographers, photographers, and production companies, as needed.
Manage and maintain our video library, ensuring that all video assets are properly tagged, organized, and archived.
Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in video production, including planning, and editing high-quality video content.
Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
Proficient in animation software such as Adobe After Effects or Apple Motion.
Experience with lighting, audio, and video equipment, as well as green screen and other special effects techniques.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with digital marketing and social media best practices.
Candidate must submit a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in video production and storytelling to be considered for the position.
Having video gear is an asset.
