Job Description

About us

Orso Logistics is a trucking company in Ontario that offers loads from Ajax, ON, to various destinations in Ontario and Quebec.


Responsibilities

  • Performing emergency repairs like patching tires when needed
  • Communicating with dispatchers and other members of the company using onboard equipment
  • Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting any problems
  • Completing a daily truck log and submitting mileage reports
  • Complying with company and government regulations and rules
  • Securing cargo as needed
  • Loading and unloading trucks


Qualifications

  • An outstanding driving record without accidents or major traffic violations
  • AZ license is a must
  • At least one year of experience is required
  • Written and verbal communication
  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions, troubleshoot equipment and find new routes when needed
