We are recruiting for a Transportation Coordinator for our client, a fast-paced and growing transportation company in Woodstock. The ideal candidate will be a multi-tasker with excellent customer service and order entry skills.

• Please note the location is not transit accessible and candidates would need their own vehicle to reach the site daily.

Responsibilities
As a Transportation Coordinator, you will:

• Manage and respond quickly to phone calls and emails throughout the day
• Trace shipments in advance to eliminate service failures
• Work with third party logistics department on brokered loads along with brokering loads to carriers
• Enter 30-60+ orders per day into prescribed database software
• Provide first-class customer service
• Booking appointments with shippers and consignees
• Communicate effectively with load planners and dispatch

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, multitasking and problem solving skills
• Minimum 3 years experience in the transportation industry
• Knowledge of 3pl (3rd party brokerage)
• Able to work independently and with a team
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively
• Strong MS Office skills (including MS Teams) with an ability to quickly learn new software
