Timekeeper Jobs

The Toronto Flyers of the GMHL invite applicants to apply for the position of Timekeeper.
The timekeeper will control the score clock and monitor the game activity as per league rules. Must be self directed and able to work independently and under pressure with good penmanship.
Key Task and Responsibilities:
Monitor the games and record all statistical information.
This Includes but not limited to:
* Goals/Assists
* Points
* Penalties
* Game Misconducts
* Final Score
* Control the score clock
* Make sure that the referees, coaches and all parties needed, sign the game sheet
* Return all game sheet information to each team
Qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years experience
* Knowledge of ISC85X Intelligent Scoreboard Controller
* Knowledge of hockey rules and league an asset
* Previous Timekeeping experience an asset
* Experience in customer service an asset
* Data Entry and Processing skills
* Strong penmanship
* Able to work under pressure
* Strong work ethic
* Team player
* Responsible and dependable
* Strong problem-solving skills
Time & Requirements:
* 3 – 4 hours a shift
* All homes games as per schedule plus any exhibition or additional game play
* Homes games are located at Paramount Ice Thornhill or Vaughan
* Commitment of 24 weeks
* Available to work evenings and weekend
* Take eLearning Timekeeper course as per the GMHL
* Police Check (as required)
