The Battery Formation and Test Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and evaluate cells produced on the pilot line. The position involves close collaboration with research leads, electrode process lead and cell assembly team to deliver world class performance. Working at the Flex-Ion Battery Innovation Center, this candidate will collaborate with the team for research and development of chemistries for the future.

• Lead lithium-ion battery cell formation and characterization testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Background in electrical systems and testing.
• Experience in battery development field is an asset.
• Assist in developing battery cell formation schedule, lead performance testing and data analysis.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering or College Diploma in a related field.
