Test Lead (3962) Jobs

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Test Lead to help our client with the implementation of an improved solution that is replacing a single system running at multiple locations. The focus will be on implementing current functionality, as well as, advanced clinical system capabilities across various sites.

Responsibilities:

• Execute functional/integration/end-to-end test scripts
• Provide updates to test issues in issue management tool
• Complete day-to-day work involved with pushing forward areas of the program across a number of domains and supporting the workstream PM’s/Lead’s
• Escalate any roadblocks to PMs
• Participate in conformance testing as required
• Record test results using project template
• Develop/update test scripts using project template
• Execute regression tests and Expanse priority pack tests as required

Requirements:

• Experience working on large health care integration initiatives/projects
• Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred
• Experience working with software development teams
• Experience working with provincial registries (i.e. EMPI)
• Strong written and verbal communication, documentation and facilitation skills
• Knowledge of general workflows in a hospital environment is an asset
• Experience working with Meditech is preferred
• Experience working with HL7, FHIR, APIs, etc.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks and effectively prioritize work
• Demonstrated internal/external stakeholder provider and clinician engagement experience
• Strong problem solving, analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills and an ability to make effective decisions under pressure
• 6+ years of experience as a Test Lead
• Experience navigating change in a clinical environment
• Experience using tools like JIRA, Smartsheets and Office365
