What does a Team Lead Security Guard in Calgary do?

• Patrolling minimum 15-20 km in a shift. Conducting interior, exterior and parkade patrols.
• Performing property inspections and enforce property laws, client rules, and other regulations.
• Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors.
• Educate the team on any foreseeable issues for the day.
• Provide keys and temporary pass to visitors/employees.
• Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork.
• Removing unauthorized individuals from the property in a safe manner.
• Review the deportment and uniform of the guards at the start of the shift.
• Conducting daily functions of the security unit including access control, security escorts, responding to calls for service, report writing/note taking.
• Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis.

Qualifications to become a Team Lead Security Guard in Calgary

• Strong computer skills.
• Valid Alberta Security Guard license.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Security clearance reliability.
• Previous experience in the security industry (asset).
• Must be available 7 days a week for 12 hour rotational shifts rotational shifts.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Customer service oriented.
