Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced T24 Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our organization. As a T24 SME, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance related to the Temenos T24 core banking system. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing and implementing T24 solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the successful integration and maintenance of the T24 platform within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
T24 Technical Expertise:
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the Temenos T24 core banking system.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the T24 development and operational teams.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest T24 releases, patches, and updates.
Solution Design and Architecture:
- Design and architect T24 solutions, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Recommend best practices and design patterns for T24 implementations.
Implementation and Configuration:
- Lead or assist in the implementation and configuration of T24 modules and components.
- Customize T24 based on business requirements, including parameterization.
- Conduct data migrations and interface integrations as needed.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve technical issues related to T24 in a timely manner.
- Provide root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with support teams to ensure 24/7 system availability.
Documentation:
- Share knowledge and best practices with the team.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and procedures.
Training and Mentoring:
- Train and mentor junior team members on T24 technical aspects.
- Conduct workshops or training sessions for end-users as needed.
Compliance and Security:
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and transactions.
- Ensure T24 systems comply with regulatory requirements and security standards.
Vendor Relationship Management:
- Manage vendor relationships effectively to ensure smooth operations.
- Liaise with Temenos or third-party vendors for product support and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, jBASE, and scripting languages.
- Relevant certifications in Temenos T24 are a plus.
- Strong understanding of core banking processes and financial industry standards.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Extensive experience (7+ years) working with Temenos T24, including hands-on technical expertise.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
