Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a member of the IT Service Delivery Group supporting a complex environment with several Active Directory Domains and clustered converged infrastructure systems and Servers. The Senior Systems Administrators are responsible for Multi Forest and Domain level support of Active Directory, internal DNS infrastructure, account administration and Infrastructure security implementation. In addition, the individual must design, implement, maintain, and support the ongoing usage of Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and Azure environment combined with internal data Centres, high availability technologies, virus protection, security technologies and provide multi tier support for Hyper Converged Infrastructure.


Senior System Administrator

Job Type: Contract

Primary Location: Hybrid– Toronto, Barrie, London Ontario (When/If required)


Responsibilities

  • Strong knowledge or experience in the following areas a plus: application integration with AD, and scripting using VBScript and/or Perl, MS SQL, ADSI and WMI, NTFS, DFS, Citrix, SFTP, McAfee network antivirus, Webshield, VMWare, Microsoft MOM, DNS, TCP/IP and related internal protocols, and Cryptography is preferred
  • 5 to 7 Years of Project Support Experience, Casino experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years managing Exchange 2016+ environment in a multi-server, clustered environment or equivalent
  • 5+ years managing Active Directory 2012 and above equivalent
  • Experience of database connectivity, and large-scale file replication systems
  • Working knowledge of LAN/WAN Networking, user/group setup, LAN security setup
  • Some travel maybe required
  • MCSA/MCSE and CCNA certifications (or equivalent) preferred
  • Previous casino/gaming/Payment services experience an asset
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP Internetworking, routing, and switching management
  • Experience with Nutanix Management and Prism
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a complex production environment (multiple sites, 1000+ users)
  • Post-Secondary Degree/ associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent experience and/or training in Network Administration
  • 5+ years Windows 2008/2012 server/network administration or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a support or customer facing role
