The Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and supervision of all camp programs. They are to work in cooperation with fellow staff members to ensure that programs run efficiently while maintaining excellent levels of service. The Supervisor will meet daily with the Kids at Blue Assistant Manager to ensure a clear line of communication has been established on activities, budget guidelines and performance objectives. The supervisor is responsible ensuring that the daily payroll of their staff is correct and group lists are accurate, neat and maintained throughout the day. The supervisor is to ensure that we are “creating memories again and again” by providing the best possible experience for our staff and guests.

Hourly Rate of $20.09

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

• Coordinate theme weeks and special events relating to the program.
• Conduct performance evaluations on all workers under his/her control and initiate plans to help motivate workers to achieve goals
• Maintain safe, animated and clean space, both indoors and outdoors, for children in programs.
• Develop and maintain SOP’S and other training documents.
• Provide staff with immediate feedback when performance issues and good work are observed.
• Provide immediate response to product and service shortfalls.
• Leverage and involve other departments as necessary.
• Be available to work with groups as necessary.
• Train and lead front line staff and ensure day-to-day operation and ongoing coaching and development are geared to deliver the highest degree of sales, service, safety and guest experience.
• Manage the “Employee and Guest Experience”.
• Address, manage and document performance shortfalls as they happen.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Excellent service recovery and conflict resolution skills in order to bring both guest and employee concerns to satisfactory closure.
• Current CPR and first aid certification
• Successful candidates 18 years of age or older must provide a Vulnerable Sector Search.
• Previous supervisory, training, coaching, and performance management experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Minimum one-year previous experience working with children.
• Self-motivated.
• Confident completing all activities the children participate in
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of BMR trail networks and resort an asset.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
