Structural Engineer

Our Vancouver based Client is looking for a motivated and talented Structural Engineer with a passion for structural engineering and architecture! The Structural Engineer will work in a multi-disciplined environment under the mentorship of senior engineers, alongside architects, on various challenging assessments, renovation, new construction, seismic upgrading and civil infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Field Reviews
• Condition Assessments
• Construction Administration
• Work on various assessments, renovation, new construction, seismic upgrading, and civil infrastructure projects
• Report/Proposal Writing
• Structural Design
• Cost Estimating
• Research

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and strong technical writing and computer skills are essential.
• A strong understanding of fundamental engineering design principles and AutoCAD is necessary.
• A distinct asset is a strong interest and experience in wood frame design and construction.
• Hold a valid BC driver's License and car.
• At least three years of local structural design experience in building projects required.
