Saltus Performance is seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and friendly applicants for the positions of part-time, full-time, and intern strength & conditioning coach.
Applicants should be willing to work in the early mornings, evenings and/or weekends, and have reliable transportation to the odd off-site location.

Job Duties
·Delivering coaching / personal training to clients in a 1:1, semi-private, and team environment
·Performance testing + analysis and communication of results
·Programming for individuals and teams
·Communicate with clients, parents, teams, and partner organizations.
·Provide each client and potential client with the best quality customer service.
·Writing performance testing reports + data entry
·Actively assist in marketing and social media initiatives
·Assist in general organization, tidiness, and cleanliness of weight room facilities.
·Attend and participate in team meetings.
·Sales tasks
·Other duties as assigned.
Desired qualifications and experience
- Bachelors or master’s degree in Kinesiology or related field. (Applicants without will still be considered).
- Current Strength & Conditioning Credentials through an accredited body. (ex. NSCA-CSCS)
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Minimum 1 year of coaching experience.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
- Experience as an athlete considered to be an asset.
- Excel in time management, organizational and follow-up skills
- Sales experience
- Experience writing at a high level.
- Experience training and programming for athletes and general population.
- Possess professionalism, honesty and personal integrity
- Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with clients/athletes
- Experience and knowledge with performance testing + analysis and communication of results
- Demonstration of ongoing continuing education
- Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry
- Certified in CPR/AED
- Experience in a customer service setting, providing a high level of personalized attention.
- Experience working in 1:1, semi-private, and team environments.
- Experience communicating verbally at a high level.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching.
