Profile:

Under the direction of the supervisor, the Storekeeper will support the Site Manager and all department Supervisors. The storekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the physical and computer inventory of the store.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the process and maintaining the records for servicing, inspection, calibration and repair compliance of owned and hired assets.
• Provide efficient and courteous customer service so that employees return to their occupations as quickly as possible;
• Receive, sort and place parts and supplies;
• Advise on services and material requisitioned when required.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Store the items in an orderly manner and in a manner that they are easily accessible;
• Prepare and distribute requisitioned orders;
• Co-ordinate day to day supply of services and material to Internal & External client requirements, using preferred and approved suppliers.
• Maintain the inventory in a computer system (the inputs and outputs of parts and supplies); (Maximo)
• Keep the store in ordered

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Good communicator, team player and courteous;
• Logical inventory understanding (min-max);
• Good computer knowledge;
• Experience of at least 2 years as a parts clerk;
• Good knowledge of diesel mechanics and hydraulics;
• Good stress management;
• Rigor at work;
• Responsible.
• Versatile;
• Resourceful;

Schedule:

• Friday: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Monday through Thursday: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm

Availability for over time hours (extra time paid half time)
