Position Title: SQL Developer/Configuration Engineer (Software)

Position Summary

Texada is seeking our next experienced SQL Developer to join our Client Service - Configuration team. In this

position, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a team of software professionals to deploy

state-of-the-art web-based business applications for customers. Keen attention to detail, problem-solving

Abilities, And a Solid Knowledge Base Are Essential.

Work location and travel:

• Hybrid / Remote work (Office Located in Mississauga, ON)
• Candidates in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) preferred

How you will be contributing

• Understand the need for extra effort and be willing and able to do what it takes to ensure success.
• Configuration issues triage and troubleshooting
• This position will sometimes require after-hours and weekend availability.
• Developing SQL configuration scripts for on-boarding and deployments
• Product installation and configuration
• Writing SQL Stored procedures

What we are hoping to find in your background

• University degree in a Computer Science, IT or associated areas from an accredited college or university
• AWS experience preferred
• Familiarity with Git and version control concepts
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server 2014/2016
• Objects
• Experience with Redgate SQL tools preferred
• Experience with ETL or experience in database analysis is a plus
• Strong experience T-SQL, complex SQL stored procedures Previous experience with software development
• Experience with Confluence
• Minimum 3 years of previous experience in development and supporting Microsoft SQL and SQL
• Experience with SQL Server Profiler and SQL Agent
• Familiarity with Agile development process
