What You will do:

Cisco IT is looking for a multifaceted Software Engineer that is eager to drive innovation in one of the most ground-breaking commerce platforms in the market, and will be responsible for the following:

• Integrate: work with engineering teams to integrate Ordering tool with other systems within such as configuration, pricing, quoting, smart account, tax, billing, invoicing, subscription, contracts, supply chain, manufacturing etc.
• Good understanding of order to cash processes for Hardware, Services and SaaS businesses.
• Experience building and maintaining scaling high-volume revenue impacting software systems.
• Seasoned engineering leader with deep experience in building and delivering software products, including SaaS.
• Work with a technical leader to design and implement the next gen architecture of Cisco CPQ (Configure, Price and Quote) platform to order Cisco products, service, and subscriptions.
• Sustained, successful trajectory in software development & in leading or supporting the execution of software-focused entrepreneurial initiatives in large organizations.
• Have excellent communication skills, and the ability to confidently share vision & roadmap to internal/external audiences.
• Strong experience in partnering with product management teams to ship products that build customer value using Agile principles.

• Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamically changing environment.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Familiar with web-based systems and architecture across the full-stack, with specific expertise in at least back or front-end development, databases & DevOps
• Lead individual project priorities, deadlines and work you're doing.
• Able to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software using Scrum and Agile development methodologies, including daily stand-ups and iteration planning meetings.
• Ability to understand the needs & challenges of different businesses and industries to build solutions to tackle for them at scale.
• Experience maintaining and scaling high-volume software systems in an Agile environment.
• Ability and willingness to have fun: participating in team activities to build a constructive and positive team culture that promotes teamwork and innovation.
• Able to quickly iterate and refine planned features’ backlog based on product owners needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Client-side web application development experience using Angular, React, jQuery, and/or other comparable technologies.
• Server-side software development experience using Sprint/Spring Boot, Java, NodeJS, and/or other comparable technologies.
• In-depth knowledge about data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
• Master in object-oriented programming concepts.
• Expertise in building large-scale systems using fault-tolerant technologies.
• Experience with deployment, continuous delivery, infrastructure management, software quality assurance (documentation, unit testing, test automation, security analysis, and code reviews).
• Hands on development in MongoDB, Kafka, Elastic Search and OPA.
• Knowledge in CI/CD platforms including Kubernetes , Jenkins, Git, Spinnaker, Docker or related tools.
• Able to define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision to ensure the system or Solution under development is fit for its intended purpose.
• Expert in java concepts like threading, generics, annotations etc.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field in 8-10years

Preferred Requirements

• Salesforce certification
• Expertise in Analytics, AI/ML technologies
• AWS / GCP certification
• Experience with developing reporting interfaces, data feeds, and/or data visualizations for business & partner consumption.
