Social Media Content Manager at Lashforever Canada

About the Role:

As the Social Media Content Manager at Lashforever Canada, you will play a crucial role in driving engagement and fostering a vibrant community across our social channels. You will be responsible for crafting compelling copy, managing the social community, and developing innovative strategies to enhance brand storytelling and connection.

Responsibilities:

Copywriting:

• Proofread new and existing copy to ensure adherence to brand and editorial standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to execute social copy for editorials, product launches, and brand moments.
• Brainstorm with social and cross-functional teams to develop insight-driven social-first concepts aligned with brand goals.
• Create engaging and authentic copy for all social channels, maintaining brand voice and consistent storytelling.
• Utilize technical and narrative-driven messaging to bring product-focused units to life through storytelling.

Social Community Management:

• Demonstrate subject matter expertise in planning, strategy, content creation, and community engagement to optimize reach, retention, and revenue.
• Collaborate with the PR/influencer team on influencer marketing programs.
• Build content calendars and track metrics across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Leverage a vast photo and video archive to curate impactful content.
• Deploy social posts that align with the brand voice while actively engaging with our community of followers and growing interactions and followers
• Create impactful, creative and original content
• Partner with customer service teams to address and resolve client issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Quick learner who embraces change and enjoys tackling unfamiliar tasks.
• Direct ownership of social media channels for a mid-to-large brand, including copywriting and content calendaring.
• Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in social media, marketing, communications, or public relations preferred, or relevant experience.
• Experience with social media reporting tools.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and up-to-date knowledge of industry and platform trends (Instagram, Reels, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced business environment, contribute as a driven team member, and collaborate effectively.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in social media management, content marketing, and/or brand marketing. Experience with beauty or consumer brands is a plus.

• Compensation: $26/hour. This is a full-time, exempt role. The actual base salary will be determined based on factors such as experience, training, knowledge, skills, and location.
