Fort Garry Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Shipper Receiver to join our team at our Winnipeg location.

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Verifying shipments received against shipping documents
  • Oversees the shipping and receiving of product
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damaged, missing or shortage of stock to supervisors.
  • Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas
  • Verifying parts orders to ensure they are correct before shipment
  • Package, label and ship customer orders by courier, motor freight and local truck deliveries.


Qualifications


  • Good knowledge of computers including internet, email and Microsoft office suite
  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • Driver's license and clean abstract an asset
  • Minimum of 1 year of general warehouse experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail
  • Heavy duty parts supply background and /or knowledge an asset
