Shipper Receiver Jobs

We are looking for a Shipper Receiver to join our manufacturing and distribution teams in Delta & Richmond, on a temporary to permanent full-time basis!
As the Shipper Receiver you will be responsible for ensuring all orders are completed, all documentation meets policy, inventory control to ensure discrepancies are reported and accounted for, and products are shipped efficiently and correctly to the delivery schedules.
What you need to know:

• Must be legally permitted to work in BC
• Transit-accessible locations available
• Morning shifts only available
• Start time between 7:00 & 8:00 AM
• Full-time Monday to Friday schedule
• Forklift certification an asset and experience is required

Responsibilities

• Unpack, code, and route goods to appropriate storage areas
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject damaged goods
• Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices, and other shipping documents manually or by computer
• Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks/trailers
• Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped including labeling
• Maintain internal, manual, or computerized record-keeping systems
• May operate a forklift, reach truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.

Qualifications

• Physically capable and comfortable lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, etc.
• Strong communication skills
• Minimum of 1-year experience within a warehouse/distribution environment
• Minimum of 1-year experience on Sit-down/Standup Counterbalance or Reach Truck (Class 1,2,4); certification an asset
• Strong attention to detail
