Primary Responsibilities

• Analysis of errors and their elimination in the context of the incident and problem management
• Reviewing modules for quality assurance and ensures compliance with application architecture standards
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements
• Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
• Participate in project planning process and facilitate the implementation and support of SAP MM module in our landscape
• Technical architecture documentation; documenting changes to architecture, integration and conversion plans. Supporting development and maintaining system and application architecture diagrams
• Ensuring the adherence to quality standards and procedures.
• Documents functions and changes to new or modified modules, tests activities/results and other areas such as error handling and backup/recovery procedures
• Good analytical, logical problem-solving skills with the ability to understand new tasks quickly
• Ensure appropriate User security/authorization levels exist in the MM area, and coordinating/testing any required authorization changes
• Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve application issues
• Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
• Investigate unused or new SAP functionality and recommend enhancements or process improvements as appropriate
• Work self-directed and independently
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements with an intent to improve application functionality utilization
• Assist in the implementation and testing of new releases, upgrades, or patches of SAP (or related systems);
• Support in developing the architecture of a system and its interfaces
• Understanding of other SAP modules integration to MM (i.e. FI/CO, SD, PP, etc.,)

Required Experience

• Excellent attitude and passion in learning and advocating newer and appropriate SAP functionalities
• Experience in new Plant configuration and physical relocation of inventory between an existing and a new plant would be a major asset
• Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a can-do attitude – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
• Certified in SAP-MM module
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 2 full cycle implementations as well as in support projects in S/4 HANA architecture
• Experience in outbound delivery transactions, MRP, S&OP, forecasting, stock transfers, warehouse location bins, storage types, search strategies, Material Movement types, STOs, Return Orders and Label Printer setups etc.
• Knowledge on IDOCS, EDI Purchase Orders, ASN’s & vendor invoices is a great asset
• Good hands-on experience in working with SAP ABAP team in developing custom RF transactions and various RICEFW objects.
• Exposure to SAP Transportation management modules would be a great asset
• Strong working experience in Distribution Warehouse environments
• Experience using serial Numbers and Handling Units
• Comprehensive working knowledge of Production staging, Batch management, WPT’s, working and customizing on RF screens, experience on handheld devices.
• Proven working experience in Process Industries, Food or Pharmaceutical Industry in Warehouse Management
• Minimum of 5 years designing and configuring SAP MM modules including integration with Inbound/Production/Outbound
• Location: Based at Toronto, North York Office / Hybrid role
