What the position entails:
- Facilitate an environment of high performance. Mentor and support the development of self and the project team members.
- Monitor project and team performance. Forecast project outcomes and adjust where necessary to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Communicate with clients and internal team members to ensure timely flow of information, actions, deliverables, timelines and budgets.
- Identify and resolve client, project and/or team issues.
- Willingness and ability to travel to sites.
- Ensure Quality, safety, legislation and industry standards are met or exceeded.
- Manage client expectations, scope creep and scope changes through active communication.
- Lead project teams to deliver quality work on time and on budget.
- Diploma or Degree in Geomatics Engineering Technology, B.Sc. in Geomatics.
- 10+ years of previous survey project management experience with demonstrated success in managing: Client Expectations, Scope, Budget / Forecast, Schedule, and Quality
- Ontario Land Surveyor (OLS) designation is required.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as per the limits provided in the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace
- Security clearance from the Government of Canada is considered an asset.
