You will be joining our Product Office team, acting as an essential bridge between senior product management, design and our engineering teams to bring key solutions to life for the thousands of physicians and healthcare providers we serve. As Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner, you will work closely with the Senior Product Manager and Technology leads to identify, design, validate, prioritize and progress user stories through our agile product development process.

What you will do

• Be an advocate for software support escalations and investigations as required
• Own and groom stories in the backlog, establish acceptance criteria, drive prioritization in the backlog, and obtain customer validation that the product meets customer and program priorities while maintaining technical integrity
• Creating User Stories according to the requirements, while making sure that they deliver on our high bar for usability and are actionable by Development Leads
• Leverage internal team discussions to enhance best practices, technical & functional knowledge and ensure that the same are shared across teams
• Provide industry perspective and product experience for qualifying the recommendations.
• Work closely with developers to ensure that we’re building the right products that help our customers fulfill their business needs
• Develop and maintain high quality documentation to enable optimal user experience and support
• Working closely with Quality Assurance to ensure that the products are working to specification
• Collaborate with our Agile/Scrum teams to actively manage and ensure appropriate prioritization of the backlog, attend and in some cases own agile ceremonies as a key stakeholder, to drive the product forward
• Organizing and facilitating requirements-elicitation sessions with internal stakeholders

What you bring

• A natural curiosity for problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Experience creating clear and concise reports and giving presentations
• 3 or more years working in an agile/scrum team
• Demonstrated ability to deliver to deadlines, multi-task, and to re-prioritize when needed
• In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles, SAFe Agile experience a bonus
• Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Communications, Design, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• A passion for innovative solutions and trying new things to solve old problems
• Advanced technical and documentation skills, including strong working knowledge of Google Workspace Apps.
• Strong relationship building, negotiation and leadership skills; ability to persuade and lead a squad of diverse stakeholders
• 5 or more years experience in a business analysis or product owner role

• Bilingualism (English and French)
• Design thinking background and experience
• Avid user of Slack emojis and gifs
• Prior experience in the healthcare technology industry
• Business Analysis and/or Product Management certification/education an asset
• An insatiable appetite for modern and emerging technologies and tools
