- Has mastered many technical concepts and can make reasonable interpretations of how they impact clients, including explanations, presentations and impact
- Coordinate resources on different projectss to achieve client results and collaborate on client activities with other experienced team members
- Develop and participate in effective oral presentations for existing or prospective clients, individually or in concert with team members
- Self-motivated, demonstrates desire to continue to learn and grow, and to go outside one’s comfort zone
- Participate in business development activities
- Lead client relationships for small to medium-sized sized accounts including critical thinking and problem solving; provide strong support to senior leaders on large clients
- Proactive in both initiating and leading some discussions internally and externally
- Can work through larger, more complex projects with less oversight and is responsible for the results, including explanations, presentations, and impact
- Understands all projects involved with a client and makes sure all needs are being met and proceeding on schedule
- Display confidence, passion, and leadership
- Supervise, guide and mentor less experienced colleagues.
- Organization skills, rigour, and thoroughness
- 7+ years of experience in pension plan consulting or related field
- English written and spoken
- Proficient MS Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fully qualified actuary (FSA/FCIA) desired
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other related degree
