Are you ready to suit up ?

We are currently hiring a Part-Time Security Guard to work an Industrial setting in Winnipeg area. As a member of the GardaWorld team, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of client assets, tenants and visitors to the assignment area in a professional and courteous manner.

What you’ll be doing ?

• Mobile site patrols
• Other duties as assigned by the client, company or Security Manager.
• Must be familiar with Kantech Door Systems, and CCTV
• Provide Escorts for Visitors, and issue passes for appropriate areas
• CCTV Monitoring
• Employee work alone process
• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Work as a team and report to the onsite supervisor
• Ensuring all doors are closed, and vacant areas have lights off
• Provide active response, assist EMS, Fire Watch, Pressurized Systems and chemical spills
• Provide excellent customer service
• Desk Duties

What we’re looking for ?

• Fluent in English, both written and orally
• High school education or equivalent
• 1-3 years of experience required
• Excellent computer skills
• Valid Manitoba Security Guard license
• Controlled Goods Clearance is an asset
• Strong customer service skills
