Security Guard - ($28 P/H)

Located in Neslon, BC you must be willing to commute to Nelson.

Looking to take the next step in your Security career? Commissionaires BC is looking for an experienced Security Professional to join our team. If you have plenty of security experience, excellent communication skills, and are looking to grow your career, we encourage you to apply!

Due to security clearance requirements, you must be a resident of Canada for 5 or more years.

Positions available are (contracted until Feb 2024):

• Saturday and Sunday 7am till 5pm (2 hours overtime pay available)
• Monday to Friday 3.30pm till 3.30am (4 hours overtime pay available)

Your Must-Haves:

• You can work under pressure
• BC Security License
• Physically able to sit, stand and walk for long periods
• Excellent problem solving skills
• You have resided in Canada for 5+ years and have the ability to obtain a government clearance

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Offering first class customer service to the client and members of the public.
• Access control of a building
• Monitoring construction site
• Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts.
• Contractor escorting
• Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports.
