Security Architect Jobs

Under the supervision of the Director of Information Security, the Security Architect provides the framework, guidance, solutions and support for IT and security initiatives to ensure the security of the organization's information systems.

More Specifically, He/she

• Writes procedures, security standards, detailed architectures;
• Supports IT operations teams to ensure that business systems and technology solutions are delivered securely and aligned with security architecture principles and policies
• Produces security solution architectures and supports the design and integration teams until delivery;
• Assists the Security Director in the development and application of security guidelines, principles and standards;
• Participates in the development of the corporate information security strategy and the establishment of security governance;
• Contributes to risk assessment activities and mitigation plan development.
• Develops plans and roadmaps for the security strategy
• Participates as a security expert in solution architecture reviews and design files for various IT projects;

Job Requirements - Security Architect
Experience

• 10+ years of professional experience in IT security;
• Experience integrating security measures into business solutions;
• Experience in security architecture, design and integration of security solutions.

Knowledge And Skills

• Ability to understand business issues and integrate them into the development of solutions or controls;
• Knowledge of concepts and solutions for securing cloud services and mobile technologies;
• Collaborative approach and excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills (English and French);
• Good knowledge of security technologies and ability to produce functional and technological architecture;
• Understanding of cryptography principles;
• Good understanding of internal and network protocols, operating systems, and current technologies;
• Strong problem solving skills, identifying solutions and following through to resolution;
• Knowledge of security architecture;
• Integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to synthesize and popularize information;
• Knowledge of SDLC processes, Agile delivery mode, DevOps;
• Dynamism, pragmatism, and passion for the field;

Assets

• CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP, GIAC or other relevant certification;
• Knowledge of security concepts for cloud (Azure, Office365, AWS, etc.) and mobile (iOS, Android) environments;
• Knowledge of Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, CheckPoint, etc. technology environments
• Experience in international companies

Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology or a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
