Primary Responsibilities

School Bus Drivers are responsible for safely transporting what we call “the most precious cargo” to and from school while ensuring students’ safety while boarding and exiting buses. School Bus Drivers are also responsible for performing pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety. We are now recruiting for drivers for the fall 2023 school year, with training to begin early Summer 2023.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Shifts required: Part-Time, Monday - Friday; Split shift (7 AM - 9 AM and 2 PM - 5 PM)
• Paid Training
• Have a sound knowledge of the region of the assigned school route and surrounding areas
• Ability to work independently
• Possess a clean Driving Record and clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector Check
• Possess a minimum of a B-class license or be willing & eligible to upgrade *minimum full G licence required for upgrade
• LICENCE UPGRADE will be provided at no charge! *with employment contract
• Must be 21 years of age

Pay details:

• $23/hour for 24 passenger mini bus driver
• Charter opportunities
• Referral Bonus
• Benefits available if you work 30+ hours a week
• $24/hour for 72 passenger full bus driver
• Minimum hours guaranteed per day
