Job Description
Our client is a leader in the responsible development and reliable and safe operation of North American energy infrastructure. They are one of the continent’s largest providers of gas storage and related services.


They are currently looking for a Data Entry Operator (Specialist) for the Calgary, AB location.


Description


  • Requires diploma/certificate to university degree depending on complexity, autonomy and context of the work.
  • Advises on process, issues, urgent matters and requests submitted by the stakeholders being Projects, Operations & Engineering Teams.
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Responsible for maintaining asset and maintenance program information in SAP.
  • Makes decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues and without formal guidelines or precedents and exercises resourcefulness and ingenuity to interpret business requirements.
  • Minimum 2-6 years of hands-on experience in managing and maintaining Master Data information in SAP preferably SAP Plant Maintenance Module.


Responsibilities


  • Utilize project management skills to manage multiple initiatives and provide progress reporting and status updates
  • Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to manage their information
  • Collaborate and coordinate the publication of training materials, FAQ's cheat sheets etc.
  • Assist team members to meet project/initiative, schedule and quality on all requirements pertaining to Asset & Maintenance Program information management best practices
  • Lead and practice an environment of continuous improvement to ensure optimization of the information in SAP
  • Plan and coordinate training sessions as required (in person, via conference calls or Teams sessions).
  • Conduct self-audits to assess gaps, and determine and implement corrective action
