COBS Bread, a fast-growing food and beverage company with plans to expand across North America, is seeking a Sales Associate to join its team. As a COBS Bread Sales Associate, you will have the chance to work in a start-up environment backed by one of the world’s largest bakery franchises. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, ensuring the store’s daily operations run smoothly, and promoting the COBS Bread brand. You will also have the opportunity to participate in ongoing training and development to help you grow in your role and advance your career in the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers coming into the store
• Welcome and assist customers with their orders, and provide product recommendations as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment
• Assist with the preparation and baking of products as necessary
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as necessary
• Operate the POS system and handle cash/credit transactions
• Regularly stock and replenish products and supplies

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or food service industry preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Passion for food, baking, and customer service
• Food handling training or certification is an asset
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
