Overview/Summary:

• Creation and maintenance of automated configuration scripts to streamline technology deployment is a valuable skillset and would be preferred for this role as we strive to achieve a consistent-repeatable process and procedure outcomes at scale.
• You will act as Rogers IT Technical Prime for store build installations & cutovers and work with internal team members as well as 3rd party installation vendors to remotely execute configuration scripts. With store relocation/cutover activities primarily happening after-hours (store closure), strong troubleshooting experience and collaboration is required as you will be directing network & POS installation vendors to mitigate, track and resolve installation deficiencies. Ensure that installed equipment is properly configured, tested, and fully functional before retail store opening. Additionally, testing and validation of LAN network connectivity is incorporated into this role, while the configuration of network devices is handled by the REN network team.
• You will also be involved in project deployments related to Hardware lifecycle refresh, assist in the evaluation, testing, and deployment of new hardware technology or applications, as well as ad-hoc requests for additional POS hardware via the IMAC (Information, Move, Add, Change) process.
• Responsible for the staging, configuration, deployment, and testing of Point-of-Sale technology in Rogers and Fido Corporate retail locations across Canada in support of the Construction & Real Estate yearly build plan.

Skills & Experience:

• MS Intune\Azure AD experience is a big plus
• Experience troubleshooting LAN connectivity & cabling
• Ability to work & collaborate with members of different teams, both internal & external
• Ability to speak French is an asset
• Experience with scripting tools to automate windows configurations
• Experience with Windows Admin/remote connectivity tools
• Exceptionally organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced and"
