Job Description

Job Title: Recreation Vehicle Technician

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Employee

Salary: $20-$30 per hour (depending on experience)


Our client, a family-operated business located in beautiful Burnaby, British Columbia, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Recreation Vehicle Technician to join their team. As an RV Technician, you will have the opportunity to work in our centrally located facility, equipped with modern tools and equipment, allowing you to excel in the science and art of RV repair. Our client fosters a positive work environment where team members can grow both professionally and personally while enjoying their work.


Responsibilities:

  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts, components, or systems
  • Ensure punctuality and maintain a positive attitude
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Organize the shop, assist technicians, and work on various projects
  • Test and repair equipment using computerized, hand, and power tools
  • Detect and diagnose faults and malfunctions in recreational vehicles


Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with light mechanical, woodworking, electrical, plumbing, and propane-related repairs
  • A continuous learner with a natural curiosity and willingness to share knowledge
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the RV trade or 2 years or more in a related trade (e.g., light-duty mechanics, plumbing, woodworking)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in light-duty mechanical, plumbing, or woodworking
