Starting early September 2023, we're looking for a student for a 4 months internship to join our Global Markets Division (MARK) team!

The Markets Fall Associate Program offers exposure to sizeable Fixed Income, Equity and Commodity trading floors, and our Prime Brokerage business, as well as a culture that will enable you to succeed in this innovative sector that provides expansive opportunities.


The 15-week (early September – mid-December) program will enable you to benefit from ongoing networking and development opportunities inside and outside your assigned team.


Projects include, but are not limited to:


  • Deep understanding of a wide range of trades implemented by key market investors across Global Banks, Hedge Funds, Insurers, Pensions funds, Real Money managers, and Corporate.
  • Provide insight into the day-to-day functioning of Capital Markets and witness firsthand trading of global risk and capital flows.
  • Broad exposure to trading desks, making markets in hundreds of financial products across Fixed Income, Equity, and Commodities.
  • Calculating value-at-risk figures for the trading strategies of prime brokerage clients.
  • Accounts Invaluable opportunity to demonstrate your potential in a high-spirited trading floor environment working for a :1.45tn asset global bank.
  • Analyzing Trading Desk hedging strategies and risk exposure.
  • Engaging clients directly in social settings to deepen client relationships


Intern Responsibilities:


  • Others (5%): collaborate with Quants, Risk, IT, COO and other critical departments to ensure the delivery of critical quantitative projects.
  • Quantitative Research (80%): collaborate closely with Traders, Structurers & Salespeople to improve the pricing of interest rate options by developing quantitative tools, algorithms and trading studies.
  • Desk Quant Support (15%): provide support for our pricing library in Python.

About the intern we're looking for:


  • You're studying in a Bachelor’s or a Master's degree relative to the quantitative program;
  • You are attentive to detail and have good organizational skills;
  • You have strong skills in mathematics and programming (Python, C# is a plus);
  • Knowledge of interest rate options and models is a plus.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills (French and English required);
  • French, English: ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
  • You're graduating in 2024 or 2025;
