Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented QA Technician to join our client's team in Belleville, ON. As a QA Technician in the Food Services industry, you will play a vital role in maintaining the HACCP systems and ensuring compliance with government regulations. Your responsibilities will include record keeping, associate training, product approval, sampling coordination, data entry, and more. This is a full-time position offering a salary of $24 per hour.

Detailed :

• Apply knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Collect water and air samples
• Approve product for shipments
• Maintain day-to-day functions of the HACCP systems in the facility
• Technical science diploma is an asset
• Conduct associate training sessions
• Utilize strong computer knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Exhibit excellent communication skills
• Perform ingredient sampling
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Ensure compliance with HACCP principles and government regulations in meat processing
• Coordinate product holds and releases
• Pay meticulous attention to detail
• Record keeping of task and monitoring documents
• Coordinate product sampling for specific testing based on program requirements
• Enter test results into electronic spreadsheets

Candidate's Profile:

• Technical science diploma is an asset
• Basic understanding of HACCP principles and government regulations in meat processing
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Knowledge of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Strong computer knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication skills
