Skills and Requirements:

• Proven skills in design/architecture of large complex applications
• You have worked on productionizing NodeJS servers
• Must be a strong Python developer, have experience with Angular and be a good communicator.
• Strong front-end development skills in Python, AngularJS, Angular, React, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with version control systems (GIT and TFS), including code merging and branching
• 5+ years of professional experience
• Interact with APIs and participate in the planning of API development
• Ability to extend existing and build new (SOAP, REST)-based web services and applications with JavaScript, Python, and Django.
• Ability to simplify complex problems

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work alongside our front-end development team to connect their UI creations with our back-end systems
• Proactively propose improvements to guidelines and best practices.
• Research new technologies and approaches that can benefit the team.
• Create new features for our users.
• Work closely with our User Experience team to make our products smarter and help reduce friction in the user experience.
• Participate in peer reviews/code walkthroughs to ensure completeness and quality of development deliverables
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Develop and maintain a knowledge and understanding of company operations and procedures, as well as Insurance trends/developments to enhance job performance.
• Create and test program data and assist in overall system testing.
• Participate in product development from ideation to deployment and beyond.
